Configure iSCSI service following step:
At first group, WebGUI will generate default values taken from your LAN address and fill it automatically. You can modify default or just add with default.
1) Create Portal Group at Portals tab (end point of the target). If you want to use multiple connections (MCS) or multiple paths (MPIO), specify more than two portals.
2) Create Initiator Group at Initiators tab (target access restriction).
3) Create Auth Group at Auths tab if you want CHAP authentication.
4) Create Extent at Targets tab. You can specify size unit by one of MB, GB, TB. The devices (combine extents, RAID0,1) are not supported by new iSCSI target daemon. Please use single extent.
5) Create Target at Targets tab.
Specify extent that created at step 8 for LUN0 Storage (currently WebGUI can handle LUN0 only).
If you want CHAP authentication, specify Auth Method and Auth Group created at step 3.
If you want command queueing feature, set queue depth 16 that is tested recommend value or you want.
You can change anytime these advanced settings after creating.
6) Enable iSCSI target at settins tab. Check enable and restart service.
You have done. Now your target can be found from the initiator in Initiator Group when connecting to IP address and port in Portal Group.
Thanks.
